Flex, a diversified manufacturing partner, is looking for a Fullstack Java Lead - IT with 8+ years of experience in JAVA. This role, located in Chennai, involves leading the development of scalable, high-performance applications, contributing to design, coding, testing, and maintenance across both front-end and back-end technologies within an Agile environment.

What a typical day looks like:

• Aware of Agile delivery methodology.

• Developing solutions to address functional and logical requirements.

• Develop applications that are scalable and meet the needs of the customer.

• Convert designs and user specifications into code.

• Design and code logic, graphical user interfaces, databases and interfaces with other systems.

• Analyze code to find bugs and leaks, monitor app performance.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following best practices and maintain documentation to describe tool development.

• Contributing to code reviews and knowledge sharing.

• Create and run tests to find errors and confirm app meets specifications.

• Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems or questions with app.

• Providing ongoing support and maintenance for the application.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.

• 8+ years of experience in JAVA (Using Design Patterns, Object Oriented, etc.)

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

• Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Back-End Development:

• Building and maintaining server-side logic and functionality using Java and frameworks like Spring Framework and Hibernate.

• Developing and managing databases (e.g., MySQL) and APIs.

• Ensuring the application is scalable, reliable, and efficient.

• Implementing microservices architectures when needed.

• Test Driven Development using Junit testing frameworks.

Front-End Development:

• Designing and developing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.js.

• Ensuring the user interface is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.

• Creating responsive designs that work seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes.
