PepsiCo's Strategy & Transformation (S&T) organization is looking for a Sr Software Engineering Analyst with 5+ years of proven experience as a React Native Developer. This pivotal role involves architecting and building mobile applications, integrating AI capabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, value-generating software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.

• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.

• Familiarity with AI tools and platforms, such as: OpenAI (GPT-3/4, Assistants API), Anthropic, or similar LLM providers.

• Ability to integrate AI capabilities into applications, such as AI copilots, smart chatbots, automated data processors, and content generators.

• Understanding of prompt engineering, context handling, and AI output refinement.

• Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

• Debug and fix issues, perform unit and integration testing.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience as a React Native Developer (5+ years).

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of mobile development principles and best practices.

• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio, Gradle.

• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, Zustand).

• 2+ years of experience on architecting fault tolerant, high scale distributed systems.

• Ability to integrate AI capabilities into applications, such as AI copilots, smart chatbots, automated data processors, content generators.

• Commanding knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, offline storage, and performance tuning.

• Familiar with version control systems like Git.

• Understanding of deployment and publishing processes for App Store and Google Play.

• Experience with Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services and cloud specific PaaS and SaaS solutions.

• Experience with mission critical, 24x7 systems.

• Experience with high throughput cloud native distributed systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
