About The Role:

As an Android Developer, you'll be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing cutting-edge applications for the Android platform. You'll work on-site in Hyderabad, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performant, and user-friendly mobile experiences. This is a crucial role for someone ready to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability.

• Feature Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend) to define, design, and ship new features that meet user and business needs.

• API Integration: Work seamlessly with outside data sources and various APIs (RESTful) to integrate external services and data.

• Testing & Quality: Conduct comprehensive unit-testing of code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability, ensuring a stable application.

• Performance & Bug Fixing: Actively work on bug fixing and continuously improving application performance and responsiveness.

• Technology Adoption: Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and development methodologies to maximize development efficiency and enhance application capabilities.

Required Skills:

• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in both Kotlin and Java.

• Android Ecosystem: Extensive experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.

• APIs & Libraries: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating various third-party libraries.

• Mobile Design: Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.

• Performance & Storage: Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning to ensure smooth application operation.

• Cloud Messaging: Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.

• Design Guidelines: Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.

• Version Control: Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

Experience & Education:

• Overall Experience: 5-12 years.

• Minimum Relevant Experience: 5+ years in Android Development.

• Industry Experience: IT/Software Development.

• Preferred Education: B.E. in Computer Science, MCA, or a relevant technical field.
