
Team Leader - Apps and Software | Atlas Copco

Atlas Copco is looking for a Team Leader in the Apps and Software domain with 8+ years in IT, including 2-3 years in management. This hybrid role, based in Pune/Baroda, India, will spearhead the entire product team (developers, testers, DevOps) within the Global Engineering Centre of Atlas Copco (GECIA), driving innovation, quality, and operational excellence in app and software development.
Your Role:
You will report directly to the Service Delivery Head. Your role is pivotal in driving the team towards the delivery of innovative, high-quality projects and solutions centered on app and software development while implementing software development best practices. Moreover, your leadership will embody the mission of ensuring that GECIA is recognized as the preferred partner on the digitalization journey for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Focus:
Enhance customer satisfaction and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders.
Establish effective governance for tracking project progress and updating business engagements.
Design and maintain dashboards and KPIs to improve project quality and delivery.
Ensure dedicated resources meet customer needs and coach the team on technical communication.
People Focus:
Attract and retain top talent, engage in mentoring, and provide technical leadership.
Map competencies, identify training needs, and foster a collaborative environment.
Cultivate subject matter experts to establish GECIA as a recognized competence center.
Innovation Focus:
Drive and implement best practices in app and software development.
Stay updated on industry trends, propose plans for competency gaps, and oversee new technology solutions.
Operational Excellence:
Serve as a Scrum Master to guide teams through project execution (Scrum certification advantageous).
Act as a Business Analyst to comprehend customer requirements and propose solutions.
Establish resource planning mechanisms for optimal utilization and transparency.
Evaluate project requirements for infrastructure needs.
Lead the team to ensure high project billability, profitability, and effective delivery management with a focus on quality outcomes.
To Succeed, You Will Need:
8+ years in IT, including 2-3 years in management.
A degree in Computer Science Engineering from a recognized university.
